The People’s Kitchen Co-Creation Group

We are looking for people and partners to help us shape the direction of The People’s Kitchen – a new touring community kitchen that will invite people to enjoy a hot soup, engage in conversation about the things that matter and imagine new futures together. Initiated by art collective Variable Matter, the project will tour specific communities and venues in early 2023.

The group will be an open and inclusive space for creative thinking, sharing and shaping ideas – for imagining events that cultivate conversations, community and maximise change around food ecologies across the borough.

We are hosting a series of initial workshops on Tuesday 20th December, 10th January and 7th February for interested partners, people and groups to come together to help shape the vision for the project. NB: You only need to attend 1 workshop but would be welcome at all!
