The Sound of PRIDE NHS Choir will be singing a variety of Christmas carols and festive songs to get you in the festive mood.
Our Christmas concert will feature a number of carols and songs to get you in the festive mood with just one week left until Christmas. The concert is being held in the beautiful church of St Edwards the Confessor in Romford Market Place.
Sound of PRIDE NHS Choir is made up of staff from Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) & North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT). Both Trust have hospitals and health services in the local area of Barking, Havering and Redbridge as well as the wider north east london. The staff who sing in the choir come from various specialities and backgrounds within the NHS including nursing, pharmacy, therapies, administration and finance. With our Musical Director, Schay Wickham, from Havering Music School, we get together on a weekly basis for 3 terms per year as part of a health and wellbeing initiative for staff and love sharing the joy of singing through our performances.
Donations made at concert will go towards the choir to help support running costs and preparation for events, including the hiring of venues, equipment. A donation will also be made to the church as a thank you for letting us use their amazing venue!
To all those who come to see us perform, we hope that you enjoy the evening and thank you for the support.
