Watch Power-Carving Artist Matt Darge sculpt an animal live!
Calling all sculpture lovers!
Watch artist Matt Darge carve a ‘hidden animal’ local to Havering out of a piece of wood. This captivating process is appealing for all ages to watch!
Obviously this activity is not participatory as it is a super intense (and dangerous) skill – but we welcome you to pop by to watch the process and guess which animal he is carving!
All children MUST be accompanied by adults. Tickets are not essential to watch on the day, however ticket holders will be prioritised if the area becomes crowded and the organisers need to limit the numbers watching.
Once the sculpture is carved, it will find a new home in a local park in Havering. Find out more on the day from the Havering Changing Team.
