SUMMARY:Organ donation and religious beliefs
DESCRIPTION:The organ donation team at BHRUT (Barking\, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals) invite you to a lunch and afternoon of discussion and information sharing around organ and tissue donation. They would like to understand the influences that religious and cultural beliefs have on deceased donation. There will be talks provided by the BHRUT chaplain\, the lead clinician in organ donation at BHRUT\, specialist nurses and transplant recipients. There will be time for questions at the end of the session. \nLecture Theatre\, King George’s Hospital \nFriday 15 September\, 10am-1pm \nRefreshments will be included.
